I really do feel that way. The only reason why we keep seeing Kim Kardashian on T.V, because the media and these Hollywood shows have nothing to report.
This is not Kim's fault; did she want to be famous ? ... Of course. But it's the media's fault for giving her all this attention. I think we all would love to get paid millions of dollars for doing absolutely nothing, right ?
If you were living on an island for seven years, without T.V, internet and newspapers, and you come to America and see the way they treat Kim, you would have thought she discovered Apple computers.
If this was the year 1999 or 2000, Kim would never be this relevant. She's famous in this day in age because everything is dead. Music has died; movies don't takeover as much anymore; sitcoms have sadly died, and reality shows have become the new sitcom of this generation.
After Kim married Kris Humphries on her reality show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", then divorces him, she was in trouble of losing a lot of viewers. Everyone found her to be "full of shit" and a money stealer, after getting married on national T.V and it lasting a laughable 72-days.
After that all happened, Kimberly had to do something major in order to keep her celebrity status from dying. And what she do in order for that not to happen ? She begins a relationship with Kanye West.
Once the media captured Kim with Kanye together, it set a wildfire.
If Kim is not with Kanye, no one cares about her anymore. She had to keep her self image alive. It's all business and publicity. You see Kanye on "Keeping With The Kardashians" now, so people can watch.
Is Kim and Kanye a Real Relationship: Yes and no. I think Kim is using Kanye, while Kanye actually likes Kim. I don't think she likes him 'like that'. That's just my opinion. Kanye does like her 'like that', but I think he doesn't care that she's isn't totally in on him, because he has her. And he gets to kiss her, hold her and make love to her. Her using him is not even a thought in his mind.
Kim's Merchandising Brand: I'm not a female, so I don't know if girls like to buy any type of make-up or clothing brand, but do people really buy Kim's line of stuff ?
I don't know if they do or don't, but if I had to guess people in New York -- or girls in NYC for that matter -- I don't see them being interested in her line. That's just my view; maybe they do, but I don't see NYC girls buying Kim's clothing or makeup, just because girls in New York really don't want to look like her. Kim is a very beautiful girl, but in New York the girls who really know fashion, like the model look. Kim's style is kinda...hick-ish.
That's why you see her traveling all over the world to sell her line, because some girls in American are sick of her.
The way these little girls take photos with her when Kim is in overseas, you would think she was the second-coming of J.K Rowling. The parents of those little girls must've forgot she made it famous by blowing Ray J, as if his penis needed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
Why Do Some People Hate Kim: If I had to guess, it'll be because she won't admit that the sex-tape didn't make her famous. If she would have admit it, people would be a little easy on her.
How Long Will Kim Kardashian Be Relevant For: I'll give her two more years. By that time, she'll be probably done with reality show, or people won't watch it anymore.
Although, either way, she succeeded. If she ended her reality show today, she -- or they (the Kardashians) -- racked up millions for having no talent. That's amazing success.
The only reason why I don't see her reality show ending, is because her mother, Kris Jenner, won't let it happen. Kris is money-hungry. Not only she's money-hungry, but hungry for the Hollywood spotlight. She wants it more than Kim does. And after Kim stops, she's gonna push Kendall and Kylie to become the next Kim.
And if you don't like Kris Jenner, you still have to admit, she's manage the whole Kardashian line brilliantly. All those business ideas came from the mother. I bet it was her idea for Kim to go out with Kanye.
Hate it or love it, this is the world we live in, now. Also, I think the movie stars like the Leonardo DiCaprios and Julia Roberts of the world, don't mind being on the same street with Kim Kardashian when paparazzis are around. Because the talentless love the paparazzis -- but the talented, don't.
