I've always wanted Carter on the Yankees; I know he's the prototypical "feast or famine" player, but to sign a 30-year-old, who had 41-homeruns and 94 RBIs for that type of contract, is pretty damn good.
For those didn't understand the deal, I think this could be either the Yankees aren't satisfied with Greg Bird after coming off shoulder injury or maybe a trade is on the way.
