Yankees Fallout: HE SO COOL !

FINAL/12th: Red Sox 3 Yankees 5

If Raul Ibanez doesn't hit that homerun in the ninth to tie the game and the Yankees would've lost, I was not going to do a fallout. I was that pissed.

Ibanez has been clutch all year, for the Yankees. You can make the case that he's been the Yankees' savior, when it comes to clutch hits. He's gotten a lot of them this year.

We must give Ibanez great credit for being great this season, but let's give some credit to Brian Cashman. When he signed Ibanez, everyone was confused by it -- and he's become an important piece to this team. You cannot ask for anything better what Ibanez has provided for this team.

That walk-off hit from Ibanez in the bottom 12th, against the lefty reliever Andrew Miller -- Ibanez hits the ball the other way instead of trying to pull for a homerun, which you don't need to do in a extra inning game. Smart hitting; not doing too much. That's what all the Yankees hitters need to take note of.

Mark Teixeira: Eh -- you can't be all over the guy. He just came out of the D.L, and hit a homer last night. If you know Teixeira he tends to pull a lot of ground balls to right against lefties. And you can't expect much from him since he's come off the D.L. He's rusty.

On the Yes Postgame, Jack Curry calls out the fans who were booing Teixeira at the stadium, calling them "bogus" -- he's right. He's absolutely right. Yankee fans who boo at the stadium, need to grow up. Especially when the player you're booing is not 100 percent ! If you want to grunt, slap your hands on your thighs, pull your hair -- fine. But don't ever boo. You think you're making things better, when you're really making thinks worse.

What This Win Means: Well, it means the magic number is now 1, and it just adds more confidence to the Yankees.

The Yankees have won, lost a lot of big games in these small stretch of days. And all that can only make you stronger for the future. Now, can they take that first step tomorrow night ? We will see :)
