I remember hearing Beyonce sing during the inauguration, and having my back against the T.V, while tweeting on my computer. Until it made news on T.V is when I started to hear to about it. I would've never knew she lip-synced, if the media didn't make a big fuss about it.
Then, I started to realize that she's performing in the Super Bowl XLVII Halftime show. And that made me think...
Then, I noticed that she's about to have an HBO documentary soon to be released. Now I'm starting find things a little fishy, here.
Could it be, that Beyonce, the sixteen Grammy Award winning artist; one of the greatest female artists of all-time -- lip-synced for publicity?
I know, I know, it sounds stupid and strange to think that a woman of this pedigree would do that for attention. But this sequence to how this all unraveled, seems like a way to get everyone talking about her. Forget the Super Bowl Halftime show --- could it have been for her documentary?
Let's be honest here: if this whole situation never happens, are you interested in her documentary? Well, depends on how big you are as a Beyonce fan, or you care or not. But in reality, the whole fiasco brings interest to it. The documentary becomes more visible and remembered, whether you want to see it or not.
Today, in the Super Bowl Halftime press conference, Beyonce sang the national anthem without any audio, to show everyone she can actually sing ... As if we didn't know she could.
If this was a publicity stunt, the sickening part about it is she lip-synced at the inauguration. Because that's like using President Obama's ceremony as a joke to get attention for a documentary. That's a slap on the face to Obama. I'm only speculating about Beyonce doing this, of course -- but it's not a good look for Obama's ceremony and this culture.
In the press conference, she gave her reason to why she lip-synced. She said, she didn't have time to rehearse and didn't want to take a risk of ruining the song, because she wanted to make Obama proud.
I don't understand -- if Beyonce wanted to make Obama and the country proud, she should've sang the song, like she knows how to. I think, risking it, would be lip-syncing. Because something wrong can with the audio. Ala: Milli Vanilli.
That's why I find this whole thing strange. Maybe Beyonce and media have a Madoff-type ponzi scheme going on here.
Funny -- I never cared about this, or never knew why others did. Now I do. Lol.
