Is This Joe Flacco's and Ravens' Year?

Balitmore Ravens defeat the Denver Broncos, 38-35, and advance to the AFC Championship game.

Joe Flacco's first touchdown pass to Torrey Smith in the first quarter -- which was a 59-yard pass -- to tie the game at 7-7, was the play of the game. When they happened I said, that could be the play that gets the Ravens into the Super Bowl, and probably becoming champion.

Before that touchdown, the Ravens looked dead. It looked like it was going to be one of those nights for the Ravens, where the Broncos were going to be all over them. But that pass to Smith in the first quarter changed EVERYTHING, for Baltimore. Even Flacco pumped his fist after that TD -- and it was only the first quarter. They were right back in it.

Flacco was clutch. No question. And I doubt for a second that this could be his year to finally hoist the Lombardi trophy. It's his time.

And I love his chances and the Ravens' next weekend to either the New Enland Patriots or Houston Texans. Most likely it'll be the Patriots. And you know Flacco and the Ravens want revenge from last year.
