This isn't bad for just black men, this is bad for any middle-class man who decides to walk in Milano Market.
I could've been frisked just because I'm wearing a hoody with a five o'clock shadow, and not clean-cut with a suit. That would've been embarrassing getting frisked on front everyone, knowing that you didn't take anything.
The employes at this deli are definitely racist. They frisked Whitaker because he's a black man going to a white, 'booshie' store, knowing that they didn't see him take anything. How can you frisk someone without knowing they put something in their pocket... Awful.
If I'm Whitaker I'm feeling hurt and mistrusted by the public just by the color of his skin.
Don't go to Milano Market.
