Super Bowl 47 Prediction

February 2, 2013

SUPER BOWL 47 is tomorrow night, and time for me to make my prediction. I feel like I'm late, too.

The Winner of Super Bowl 47, between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers: Ravens.

I'm picking the Baltimore Ravens to win it all, 27-17.

I just think it's Joe Flacco's time. It's his turn to win. And he will make sure tomorrow night he and his teammates are hoisting the Vince Lombardi trophy.

Flacco's won big games, and also lost them. The ones he's lost, he's learned from. That's the biggest edge against Collin Kaepernick and the San Francisco 49ers.

If I'm the Ravens defense, I'm going to make Kaepernick beat us with the running game. Make him have to run ever play, and confuse him in the pocket; make Kaepernick's mind spin, to whether throw the ball, or run.

Another reason why I'm picking the Ravens, is because they know what they have to do. Flacco and the Ravens know what, and what not to do in these games. Once Baltimore goes into that Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and get overhyped and too excited, they know how to turn down their emotional nob and relax themselves. Something that the 49ers don't have enough experience to do to themselves.

The 25-year old Kaepernick has got to get in the game. He can't get overly excited; and hey, if he does, there's nothing wrong with that. But it could cost him a Super Bowl.

So, I'm picking Ravens to win Super Bowl XLVII, 27-17.
