SNL Fallout: E-METH

It's back!!!

Saturday Night Live made it's season premiere last night, and I could not be more excited. It also gives me something to fucking write about!

Boy, this is gonna get some time getting use to. With no Fred Armisen, Bill Hader, Jason Sudeikis, it's gonna be hard getting use to these rooks. This is the first time in years, or since I've been watching SNL, where the cast are bunch of no-names.

But hey, that's how it goes. You rather it didn't happen all at once, where three big stars leave, but we gotta move on. Hey, never know, maybe Brooks Wheelan turns into Will Ferrell(not really).

It was a good show, I thought. Not as good as last year's season premier when Seth MacFarlane hosted -- though, is was a good opening night. It didn't suck.

Tina Fey's Monologue: Loved it. Clever way to open up the show with the new breed of cast, having to dance silly to fit in.

Putting Fey with the new cast members was great for the new cast. Fey is a pro and with new breed, she can pick them up

The two new cast members that jump out at me, talent wise, is Brooks Wheelan and Noel Wells. The rest, I don't see lasting very long... Maybe Beck Bennett surprises us. Maybe.

Obamacare: JESSE PINKMAN! Gotta love seeing Aaron Paul on the first sketch, right before finale episode of "Breaking Bad".

The whole sketch was great; Kate McKinnon was brilliant! She had my household dying with laughter, playing "Dr. Melissa Crownish" whose complaining about patients sticking things up their asses. SNL needs to make this out of a character.

I have a feeling this is going to be McKinnon's year. She's ready to break out.

I also thought Aidy Bryant was very funny, as well.

Girls Promo: A big spot for Noel Wells, and she nailed it. Wells played Lena Dunham's character "Hannah Horvath" on the HBO comedy series "Girls".

Tina Fey playing an Albanian roommate, whose an immigrant, named "Blerta", is a good 'stop your shit' rant to us Americans. I'm a fan of the show "Girls" and I can't wait for the new season, but the writers who put this sketch together is right. On the show, they bullshit about the stupidest stuff, when they're people in this world who have it worst.

Though -- still can't wait for Season 3.

And how can you not love Taran Killam playing "Adam Sackler"... Lol. Thank god for Killam.

Cecily Strong on Weekend Update: She was okay. A little jumpy, but that's normal. That's just excitement.

Strong maybe a little uncomfortable being herself and not a made-up character. But she'll get use to it and will do fine.

If Strong doesn't work at the weekend table, with Seth Meyers leaving, I would consider Aidy Bryant and Jay Pharoah as Weekend Update anchors. I vision both them being really funny and having great chemistry.

E-Meth: Again -- this is McKinnon's year. Another brilliant sketch by her. It's almost like McKinnon is telling everyone, including the young cast: 'Get the fuck out of my way, I'm going to the top'.

Wheelan was tremendous on this first commercial sketch. He and Wells are the only ones that strike me as true talents.
