Though, she's got some work to do. Whose she? 15-year old Khaya Cohen -- remember that name -- Brooklyn, New York. She's a contestant on Fox's "X-Factor" and has got 'star' written all over.
When I first heard Cohen sing, and witness her style, she instantly reminded me of Norah Jones -- that smooth, jazzy, vintage style of music and style.
Cohen's appearance is what is needed in this culture, where other 15-year old girls plaster their face with make-up. She could be a role model for young girls.
Khaya Cohen could be the next "X-Factor" winner. Still has a ton of work to do, but I'll be rooting for our very own Brooklynite.
From Larry David to Jay-Z ... I don't know what it is with us Brooklynites. We're just that damn gifted.
