This column looks like a pair of Air Jordan VII "Raptors"... Sneakersheads know what I'm talking about.
Oh yeah, this page is about Saturday Night Live!
Miley Cyrus hosted/performed SNL last night, on a 11:57 start time due to the NCAA Football game.
Cyrus did very well. Acting is nothing new to her since she starred in her own, "Hannah Montana". Also, she has hosted SNL, before. Her whole new personality is difficult to take seriously. I've had my opinions about Cyrus for the way she's acted since this new look; I mostly complained on my MTV VMA fallout. And my whole argument about her new look is -- it just doesn't fit her. I don't find her sexy, at all. You have to have the body for it, or the exotic look. She went from Carrie Underwood to Madonna.
Miley would say now: "I finally get be myself" -- I don't see that. I see a girl trying to be someone else. And trying to hard to be someone else.
Cyrus is an alright chick. I just think she's going through a bit of a pre-adult crises. It happens to some celebrities. Then when she's 40-years old, she'll have an interview talking about how wild she use to be when she was younger.
50 Shades of Grey Audition: Great stuff. I love when SNL does these sketches with imitating various of actors, for some kind of audition. Fred Armisen use to kill in these sketches.
Kenan Thompson is hilarious, when he does Steve Harvey.
Jay Pharoah was outstanding with his imitations of Tracy Morgan and Shaquille O'Neal. Pharoah is stepping to the plate, with all these big stars gone from and in need of more male stars. Now he's getting more sketches to do, and is delivering.
Noel Wells -- who I'm starting to have a crush on (now that Cecily is taken) -- is outstanding impersonating actresses. That Emma Stone impersonation was outstanding; best I've ever seen.
Girlfriends Talk Show: Let me first off say -- I love Aidy Bryant. She's not the best or the worst cast member, she's just Aidy Bryant. She knows her limits; Bryant has a good grasp at her own comedy, in different types of genre-sketches. She's a joy to watch.
Bryant is always great on the "Girlfriends Talk Show". I love the character she plays, when her friend, who plays Cecily Strong, seems to try new things, or do more adult things, while Bryant's character still does things that a little girl does. Bryant is superb, at it.
Cheer Squad: To me, this was Miley's best sketch. She was really good. Cyrus played a leader of a cheerleading squad, to perfection.
Taran Killam was hilarious as usual. He made this sketch funnier than what is; wasn't a funny sketch at all, really. But each cast played their parts very well, I felt.
Pat Lynhart: This mother of Connecticut has Grand Theft Auto 5, and I don't! Smh...
Another stellar performance by Kate McKinnon. She is the Cheri Oteri of the teens(2010's).
I said it on my last SNL fallout, that this is McKinnon's breakout year. She's on beast mode, right now.
Jacob the bar Mitzvah boy: I bet Jacob has GTA, before me! Smh...
How can you not look at Vanessa Bayer and laugh at her as Jacob. Even Cecily Strong couldn't keep a serious face.
The hilarity about this sketch is Jacob not responding to anything Seth Meyers is saying. The reason for that -- and I hope I'm right -- is because of the Jewish religion. Since..... -- You know what, let me just stop here.
Poetry Class: Nice job, by Vanessa Bayer. Bayer is another sensational, female cast member; she's right behind McKinnon.
You ever wrote this sketch, was on the money on how teachers smell. Miley Cyrus read her poem about the teacher smelling like cough drops and tea, that's exactly what teachers smelled like when I was school. IT'S AMAZING! :Jacob's face:
Jay Pharoah was hilarious in this minor sketch, just by his facial expression at the end of what he said.
Mike O'Brien, one of the newly cast members this season, had a nice spot on the beginning of the sketch. I thought he was very funny; even though it was a small spot, it was effective -- to me it was. Although, last week, his sketch wasn't good. But he's a newbie..
