What a perfect ending to cap off the MLB season.
McCarver has been a part of all of our lives as baseball fans -- and I can't speak for every fan since they've had their own view on McCarver, but I'd like to say it was an honor to listen to this great man through the years; through the years of seeing my New York Yankees win titles from the late 90's and 2000's. Teaching us the history and the excellence of the game.
To me, listening to McCarver, he's like the grandpa that sat us down on the floor and told us stories about the game, but behind the booth.
