I'd say it's been a pretty damn good year, in the music world. Though, some music award shows don't show that -- nevertheless, 2013 had a lot of good stuff in the music world.

2013 had a new star be born in Macklemore and Lorde; the return of pop icon Lady Gaga and yet another genius album by Kanye West. I complain about the music world 'sucking', but then if you look what occurred this year, the future looks good from hear on out in the music world. Especially when Lady Gaga and Kanye West had big years. We need those two around. Gaga and West are the two most highly, creative musicians today; and not just creative, they're good at what they do.
