Is SNL Going Back to the 90s, if Hilary is Elected?

Once you kept seeing Kate McKinnon play Hillary Clinton a few times on "Saturday Night Live", I think people (fans) and myself, already began to vision the future of 2016 in America and for SNL.

And watching McKinnon play Hillary showed me how important she's gonna become to SNL, if Hillary's our next president. Just like how Will Ferrell was a large part of SNL in the early 2000s, when he had to play George W. Bush.

And just like how Darrell Hammond was a big star in the mid-to-late 1990's when he had to play Bill Clinton. But Hammond might not be done playing Bill Clinton on SNL...

Hammond appearing on this Saturday's cold open sketch to SNL, where McKinnon played a 'Hillary Clinton getting ready to announce her candidacy for President', was very, very interesting. Because if Hillary does become President and McKinnon begins her run of playing her, I all of sudden began to think how many appearances Hammond can make on SNL, since he just became the announcer last year for the show, and how 2016 in SNL can look almost like the late 1990's all over again.

How perfect is this... SNL has a perfect -- and brilliant -- cast member in Kate McKinnon to play Hillary Clinton and they have Darrell Hammond to play Bill Clinton at anytime. Unless...he agrees to it.

Hammond brought back old laughs in his appearance on SNL, Saturday. Felt like old times again when we use to see Hammond in the opening sketches, with Molly Shannon playing Monica Lewinsky. Those were the days.

I think we saw a glimpse of how the SNL cold open sketches will look next year.

Hmm... I wonder if one of the SNL suits or writers had Hammond be the announcer, planning for this scenario to happen? ;)

If Marco Rubio brings along George W. Bush to campaign for him, I could also see Ferrell doing one or maybe two appearances to play Bush, with Taran Killam playing Rubio.

I think I might vote for Hillary just so I can see McKinnon play her every Saturday..lol. How about the cast and everyone who works at SNL? Wonder if Lorne Michaels is forcing everyone to vote for Hillary. I always found SNL to be a democratic organization. But who knows... Just can't imagine Michaels voting for a democrat -- for the obviou$ reason.

This is gonna get fun for SNL. If you're young or older viewer of SNL, it's gonna get exciting because you're gonna start to see this show at it's best. SNL LOVES to do sketches on presidential runs. They will pull anything and everything out of the box, week after week, to make the best opening sketch for this campaign run.

Sure, they do it to get ratings (duh) but I think there's special enjoyment Lorne Michaels and everyone else in SNL gets from...making fun of politicians.
