If A-Rod Goes To D.L, Not The Worst Thing

If Alex Rodriguez goes on the D.L it's bad and good.

The Bad: A-Rod is the straw that stirs the drink in the Yankee lineup. When he hits, everyone else hits. And he can still be that dominant.

The Good: Carlos Beltran doesn't have to play the field and bats DH. Also, there could be a chance that the Yankees can call-up top prospect, Aaron Judge, to play right-field.

Now let me say, if the Yankees don't call up Judge, if A-Rod goes on the D.L and if Aaron Hicks goes on the D.L as well, that would be waving the white flag. If they wanna call up Slade Heathcott to replace Hicks, fine, but you're gonna call up Ben Gamel to replace A-Rod?

BRING UP THE TOP PROSPECT! This team needs to get younger and BETTER. And how do you get younger and better at the same time? You call up Judge.

As the Yankees start off a nine-game road trip in Globe Life Park in Arlington Texas, where the balls flies out like whiffle balls, what a perfect stadium for Judge to start his career. He could end up hitting three homeruns in this series.

If the Yankees are afraid to call up Judge because he might end up playing well and wouldn't know what to do with him if A-Rod comes back from the D.L., then that's the wrong notion to have. If that happens, let A-Rod become a bench player. He might be an expensive one, but if that scenario happens, it happens. No offense to A-Rod, I love him, although his time is up. I could understand not calling up Judge because A-Rod is hitting the ball well. That's not the case here. Before that rbi-double in today's game against the Tampa Bay Rays, he was 0-for-11.

The Yankees have to stop letting these long-term contracts that involves older players, block them from doing the right thing. The best answer for the Yankees to win, is Judge. Not Gamel. And not even Nick Swisher; I'm sorry. I love the guy too, but the Yankees can't have a guy who was just released, whose also old, replace A-Rod.

We always hear about these top prospects and we never see them up. The Baltimore Orioles, Manny Machado, came up at age 19. Now he's only 23 and he's become the top third baseman in the league.

Judge is 23 and is gonna be 24 this week coming (April 26th). When is he gonna start his career? At 29!?

Bring the kid up, he's a monster. Put him in right-field, then you put Beltran at DH, where he might become better since he won't have to play the field at this age.
