What made this episode to good? Sure, the whole damn season why great; with great storylines and future storylines, but there was something about that season finale that was so seductive. And I think I know what it was -- it was the piano music playing in the beginning of the episode.
Right when the trial was about to begin, which was right in the beginning of the episode, there was this piano music. It was one of the most beautiful piano music I've ever heard and went so perfectly with what was going on at the present time,
While the music was playing, what was going on during the scene of the episode with everyone appearing trial, watching Cersei Lannister get dressed and Tommen Lannister waiting to leave, while Margaery Tyrell and the High Sparrow were suspiciously waiting for the arrival of the Lannisters, the song made the scene feel like something was about to go down.
The piano music did give the scene a forthcoming feeling, but it was also gave it a sad, dark and almost 'victories' feeling. That's what made the song so beautiful and mysteries.
The song added to this unbalanced scene, where you didn't know how to feel. Even if you were a Cersai fan where you have to be joyed for her victory and becoming queen, you had to feel terrible for Tommen, who took his own life after watching the explosion and seeing thousands of people get killed.
As for the song and the person who played it was by Ramin Djawadi and name of the song is "Light of the Seven".
What an extraordinary end to the season.
