Ty Dolla $ign is Turning Into a Damn Good Artist

You know what, from the songs I've heard hip-hop/r&b artist Ty Dolla $ign is in, they all sound good. Almost every single one.

He's turned out to be a solid artist. When I first heard Ty's first hit single "Paranoid", I didn't think much of it. I thought he was just another rapper who didn't really rap, or a r&b singer who didn't really sing.

But when he came with the hit single "Blase", which - to me - was one of the top songs of 2015, I began to hear the uniqueness in his voice. Where he can sing in two different tones. He can sing in a raspy voice that sounds very soulful or blues like, then he can sing in a smooth vocal; and when he can sing smoothly, he can make any song sound good.

Even in the songs where Ty has a very small part in, he can make that small verse be the best part of the song. Like in the song "Play No Games" that featured Big Sean and Chris Brown, Ty only has five lines in the song and it sounded great.

"You Could Be My Lover" -- one of the best songs in 2016 and doesn't get enough credit. Ty sings the hook to this song, alongside with P.Diddy and Gizzle. If this song has one more rapper, just to add another verse, it would've been one of the top songs this year.

Ty can make a damn good hook. Just like the other great hook in the song he sang with Kanye West, called "Real Friends" that's on the West's album "The Life Of Pablo". Ty's voice is so soulful, in "Real Friends". His voice is so perfect for a song like that, because of what it meant. Ty has that deep, emotional voice. You can really feel his struggle from his voice.

This is what you want to hear from musicians. That voice that's so good and mesmerizing that you don't know why you can't stop listening to that person. That's the true beauty of music.
