Untold Story: "The Godfather and The Mob"

I saw this mini story on YouTube a couple of years ago, on how the iconic movie "The Godfather" was almost never made. There was a lot of controversy while the movie was being made since Italian Americans felt the movie was stereotyping Italians as mobsters and killers. This story gave me a whole new outlook on how some Italians felt, during this time in the 1970's.

After that, not only hardworking, good nature Italians began to protest, real life mobsters began to get in the way of the producers and directors. Mobsters began to threaten the lives of Hollywood producers and executives.

The story also shows how they picked the cast and (my favorite) on how executives didn't want Marlon Brando nowhere near the movie "The Godfather".

Here's five parts of the story.
