Yankees Fallout: SICKENING !

Yankees Lose A Heartbreaker, 10-6, To The Rising Orioles

This may sound crazy, but I prefer the Yankees just lose 6-1, instead of losing this way. Yea - they showed heart at the end, but losing like the way they did, is even worst than a simple lost.

But the Yankees have to move on.

David Phelps: If you're a Yankee starter, you cannot give up four runs in the first. That is almost calling the over in the first inning, with the way the Yankees are hitting.

Although, the Yankee bats awoken in the 8th-inning; which was a rarity at this time for the Yankees -- they can't have their starter put up a four spot in the first.

The Comeback: It was great. I was screaming my lungs out, when that happened. But they lost.

When the Yankees tied the game, you can already hear people the next morning say: 'THE YANKEES HAVE TURNED IT AROUND'. Wasn't the case.

The positive I took out of it was that the Yankee bats can actually hit with runners on. It's not impossible for them to not to have a big inning or a big comeback. So that's a good sign, at least.

Ichiro Suzuki getting the big hit was great. He had a great game; going 4-3. The bad thing about it is we didn't win.

David Robertson: When I saw Adam Jones hit that ball in the air, it was going in slow motion. It was unreal how I saw that ball go high, high and gone.

Robertson has looked bad. He does not look the same as he's looked in the past. First of all -- his fastball velocity is way down. He's throwing 88-mph. I didn't see the miles on the fastball he threw to Jones for the solo shot, but I know it wasn't his good velocity.

Yanks can't afford Robertson to not be effective at this time of the season.

Comeback From A Tough Lost: Yankees had a big come-from-behind win against the Texas Rangers in Game 1 of the 2010 ALCS. Everyone thought the Rangers would never comeback after a lost like that.

The Yanks just have to keep fighting. Fight t'll the end. The Orioles look like they're destiny mode and look unreal, but you hope they slow down. They are on fire, though the Yankees have to fight with fire.

Either that, or quit.
