2012 VMA's Fallout: NO STARS ?

If the MTV Video Music Awards are not in New York City, it ain't the VMAs. That's a fact...

There was some very good moments, like Chris Brown winning for "Best Male", which I did not see coming. Gabby Douglas on stage with Alicia Keys and Nicki Minaj was great. Taylor Swift's ending the VMAs with her new single was good... But there was no stars.

Where's Jay-Z ? Where was Kanye West ? Beyonce ? Lady Gaga !?

The VMAs lacked stars, last night. In the past VMAs, even if you were a superstar musician who was irrelevant in the time and didn't have a new hit single, you would still attend the VMAs. Now, no new or old stars are going anymore. Because they know it's not the same as it use to be.

There's a lot of newbies now, that makes the show very weak. Nobody knows who these kids are. Rita Ora is hot as hell, but I have never heard her music or who she is.

Staple Center Camera View: Another reason why there was no stars -- the cameras had no one to look to in the seats when Kevin Hart made a joke. They use to always have big superstar singers shown at their seats on camera, when the host made a edgy joke. Last night, all they did was show Rihanna and Katy Perry. There was no one to look to for reaction. Especially at Staple Center, with those terrible seats.

Kevin Hart: He was okay. I've never been a fan of his, but he did the best he could.

When you lived long enough to have seen Chris Rock host it -- whose the best VMAs host that ever lived -- you know no one isn't better than him.

VMAs Has Got To Return To NYC: No questions about it -- they have to comeback to New York City. Not just for one year, for the next couple of years.

If they come back to New York, that's when more stars will attend. Nobody wants to go to Los Angeles to see Kevin Hart and One Direction.

L.A -- you can tell -- is more of the teenage girl fan-base when the VMAs is held there. It looks like the Billboard Awards or Peoples Choice Awards.

I'm telling you -- the diference between L.A and New York, is, New York has that black stage. That stage in Radio City and the Metropolitan Opera arena has that black, stained stage that makes the VMAs great. It brings that art form that no other arena has. Not LIGHTS on a stage, that looks like a club.

Bring Chris Rock Back: One more year -- please ! I know he must cost a lot more money than he use to, but try to bring him back. Just one more time, to host.

Or, bring Eddie Murphy. Imagine this: 2013 VMAs, in N.Y.C, with Eddie Murphy hosting... You don't think people won't be watching that ?
