Yankees: New Holliday Season

Well, it ain't Edwin Encarnacion but it's still good.

Yankees decided to go a different and cheaper option by signing Matt Holliday to a one-year, worth $13 million.

When I heard about the rumors on Holliday possibly coming here, I didn't mind it. I knew he put up consistent numbers each season and he's winner; been many successful St.Louis Cardinal teams and also won a World Series in 2011.

It looks like Holliday is gonna platoon first base with Greg Bird, and play mostly DH. Scouts say he's done in the outfield.

Here's some highlights of the newest Yankeee. Welcome to New York, Holliday.
