What an amazing sight to see the Oakland Athletics become the second seed and the A.L West Division Champions. Just, remarkable.

The young, brash Oakland A's against the prime veteran Detroit Tigers.

A very interesting series. The Athletics have a bunch of young guns who've never experience the postseason and a cuban superstar player in Yoenis Cespedes. Then on the other side you have the Tigers who have three superstars in Miguel Cabrera, Justin Verlander and Prince Fielder -- but just three. You can quick think this series and say the Tigers will win it in four -- not quite.

Everything around Cabrera, Verlander, Fielder isn't much. If the A's win their game against Verlander and if they don't let Cabrera and fielder hurt them, they can win this series.

If the A's game one starter Jarrod Parker pitches well enough to keep his team in the game and his offense can score some runs off Verlander, the A's can win game one. And if they do, the Athletics have a great chance of going home up 2-0.

The A's pitching staff have to walk Cabrera, if they can. Pitch to the hitters on front of him and pitch around him. I'd even let Fielder beat me. Because I don't think he can be as dominant at Cabrera can. Also, the A's have lefties in the bullpen to neutralize fielder.

Game one is crucial for the Tigers -- especially with Verlander on the mound. Game one is a must win for the Tigers. They don't want to go to Oakland down two games. Gotta win one, and this is the one.

Cespedes: I would not be shock if this guy goes wild. And what I mean by 'wild' I mean, go 2004 Carlos Beltran. I would not be shocked. Cespedes is such a focused player and can really make a name for himself in the postseason.

PREDICTION SERIES: A's in 5
