If you were for Obama, it was getting scary around 8:00 to 9:00 PM whether he would be president again. I knew Obama trailed early in 2008 against John McCain and the east coast votes weren't even projected yet, but everyone was worried about the "too close to call" states: Ohio, Virginia and (of course) Florida.
The Obama supporters were also worried that he wasn't going against a 70-year old McCain, which made it easy for undecided voters to vote for a young Obama, in 2008. This was was different. A lot of voters who voted for Obama in '08 were unhappy in the last four years, and voted for Mitt Romney yesterday.
But after Obama took the state of Ohio, a sense of calmness and joy set through Team-Obama. With that state win, it was a sure thing Obama would be staying in the white house, for a couple of more years.
