Yankees: A-Rod Must Retire

January 29, 2013

Oh A-Rod, A-Rod, A-Rod...

We can talk all day how bad this for baseball in general, but I have think from a Yankees' fan perspective (which I am), to what in the hell the New York Yankees are going to do with Alex Rodriguez...

If these allegations that were released from "The Miami New Times" that Rodriguez has used PED in 2009 through 2012 are true, then that means to me, in Game 4 of the 2012 ALCS at Detroit will be the last time you'll ever see A-Rod in a Yankee uniform. Or, even playing baseball.

This is it. Just like Michael Jackson's movie: This is it. It's over. The eight-year marriage between A-Rod and the Yankees should be divorced.

I've defended him while everyone else blamed him for not producing in the season and postseason last year; where fans were even blaming him when they got fired from their own jobs, I've defended him. Not anymore.

If A-Rod is still playing with the Yankees this season coming and he begins to slump, or slumps in the postseason, it's gonna get bad with the media and the fans. If fans booed him before he caught using steroids, it's gonna get even worst; especially when his career -- as of right now -- looks tarnish.

When A-Rod was first alleged in 2009 for usage of steroids in 2003 and his years with the Texas Rangers, he made it clear that his Texas years was the only years he used. After the story that came out today, it looks he's been using substances through his entire eight-years with the Yankees.

He used in 2009 through 2012 ... Why wouldn't he not use in 2005 -- when he won the MVP for the first time as a Yankee and had 48-homeruns, 130-rbi and batted .321. Why wouldn't he use in 2007 -- when he won his second MVP with the Yankees, and had one of the greatest seasons a Yankee since Mickey Mantle, when he had 54-homeruns, 156-rbi and batted .314.

Yankees will do something to get rid of him. Barring A-Rod becoming innocent in this, the New York Yankees will try to get out of this contract someway, somehow.

There could be chance that A-Rod could force himself into retirement. Not only his carrer and chances of getting into the hall of fame is over, this is going to be a major distraction to the Yankee team. He's got to have some kind of consideration for others, besides himself.

You think Mark Teixeira, Robinson Cano, C.C Sabathia, Andy Pettitte, Curtis Granderson, Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter want to answer questions about this shit come spring training. They've been through this so many times already, with this guy. They want come into Tampa, Florida to train and talk about the 2013 season. Not to talk about A-Rod using steroids, again!

The Yankees front office doesn't want to see him. I bet, the players don't want talk about him. And the fans, are 100%, done with Alex Rodriguez. Best case is: he retires. Take the billions you made, and go off to the sunset.

No one brought this to A-Rod. He did this to himself.
