We will for sure see what the 2012-13 New York Knicks are made of. Do they want to throw away their season, or will injuries and a couple of flu sickness force them to throw away their season.
Now, the latest on the Knicks is Iman Shumpert's right knee being sore -- the same knee he tore his ACL. I mean, if you're Knick fan, things can't get any worse. Knicks are down 2-1; they looked bad on Game 3; J.R Smith and Kenyon Martin are battling a flu and now Shumpert's knee is problem.
I hope Shumpert is okay and can play tonight. But when you have Amar'e Stoudemire -- whose had knee injuries in the past -- say he's worried about Shumpert's knee, it's worrisome.
GAME 4: But barring any injuries and flu symptoms, the Knicks need to leave Indiana with the series tied 2-2.
Some people are upset at Tyson Chandler for what he said, though some agree with him, and believe it was a direct message toward Carmelo Anthony. And I'm glad something was said about the lost on Game 3. Either Chandler or Anthony, whoever was wrong, as long as someone spoke up and was frustrated with the lost is a good thing.
There's nothing wrong with Chandler speaking up and sending a message to Anthony that he needs to pass the ball more. All Chandler is doing is putting fire under the team -- giving them a little kick in the ass. Nothing wrong with that.
And if Anthony's arm isn't 100%, he should consider passing the ball more. He needs to realize that he's a streaky shooter; and this is not going to help the team his arm is hurting and he wants to take 50-shots. In Game 6 against the Boston Celtics, the Knicks got to a high score in the first quarter because everyone shot the ball. Everyone was contributing.
The Game 3 lost was very frustrating because the Knicks could've won. Their offensive game plan was horrible. There was no team-ball. Especially against one of the top defensive teams in the league.
Can Knicks Win Game 4: Yes. We've seen this some response after bad a lost, with a win.
I'm just worried about Shumpert. If he's okay, I like the Knicks chances. If not, this could be bad...
