SNL Fallout: Kristen Wiig hosts

She's backkkkkk! But sadly, only for one night. That night was last night, as Kristen Wiig returns to her old stomping ground to host the newest edition of Saturday Night Live.

A much better SNL show. I liked the different types of hilarity that each skit had. Each skit had it's own funny, type of style, which made the show great.

Wiig looked so excited and maybe a bit overwhelmed by being the host of her old job. And it looked weird to see her up there on stage, hosting. All of us SNL nuts have seen her for years being the cast member, and the backbone of the group.

But it's so great to see Wiig's career soar high. I think there wasn't any one person on SNL and on NBC who didn't want to see Wiig succeed -- including fans, as well. She's a favorite for this generations' SNL fan. Including the females.

The Californians:

"The Californians" is one of my favorite skits, and hardly ever disappoints. But this time, it wasn't 'all that'. Even when Keene Thompson entered the skit ... (pun intended :))

Fred Armisen could not keep a serious face throughout that whole sketch. Neither did Wiig, lol. And those are two who were always the best at keeping stone faces in their time at SNL.

Target Lady:

One of Wiig's classics.

Not only this is, now, considered to be an 'old school' skit, but this is a vintage type, SNL skit you would see in the 90's.

This is where SNL misses Wiig. Sketches like this can't be teach.

Anthony Crispino:

Anthony Crispino >>>>>>>> Drunk Uncle

I'm a big fan of Bobby Moynihan's "Anthony Crispino" character. More than "Drunk Uncle". It's just simply funnier. The wrong gossip, that sounds funny at the same time, is genius.

Double Date:

Cecily Strong being attracted to 6th graders gives me hope. :D

Any who -- the "Double Date" scene was strange. Seeing to middle age chicks having dinner with two 11-year olds boys, then making fun of them. It was...interesting :D

Acupuncture:

I don't remember a last time an SNL skit made me feel squeamish. Lol.

The "Acupuncture" skit made this edition's SNL not boring -- and made it exciting and fun. It's a skit you're gonna see in one of those "Best of SNL" specials.

Also, I dont know how in the hell they made red liquid come out of that molded human back. Amazing.

So this is it. One more SNL fallout to go, since next weekend will be the season finale of SNL. Gonna be sad.. :(
