MTV VMAs: Lady Gaga Should Open the Show

Big news last week, as we found out that the immense talented Lady Gaga will make her anticipated return at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Massive news from MTV. Having one of the top female artists to perform and hopefully open the VMAs, is pretty huge.

Gaga will perform a song from her new album "ARTPOP".

Last year's VMAs, I felt that MTV didn't have a lot of star names in attendance. The only star names they had were Chris Brown, Rihanna, Drake, Lil'Wayne -- that was basically it. The VMAs hardly ever lacked star names. Back then, every musician from past to present wanted to be part of the MTV award show. But the music culture has changed, I guess.

I'm expecting Gaga to open the '13 VMAs. If you remember she opened and performed the VMAs before, in 2011. Gaga came dressed as a man named "Jo Calderone". She was incredible and had everyone in surprise. It was definitely one of the greatest openings in VMA history.

Gaga never disappoints, because of her high level of creativity. And I expect her to open the 2013 VMAs with a bang, yet again.
