I remember it like it was yesterday, seeing Aaliyah's picture on NY1 and the letters "died in plane crash", giving me the coldest chills. Heartbreaking. It took me a while get over her death.
Aaliyah passed away on August 25th, 2001.
It was tough time for all us, as we were trying to escape the horrid 9-11, that was still very fresh in our lives.
