Prospects Yankees Can Get For Beltran

There's some top prospects on teams that are interested in acquiring Carlos Beltran, that'd fit very nicely on the New York Yankees. But..will those teams trade those prospects.
Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians are among the teams interested in Yankees outfield/DH Carlos Beltran. Now if one of those teams strike a deal with the Yankees for Beltran, one of these prospects could be in return to New York.

Joey Gallo is the Rangers top prospect. Can play third and first base.
Gallo may not be available in a trade to the Yankees since the Rangers might trade him to the Milwaukee Brewers for catcher Jonathan Lucroy. But if not, he's a player the Yankees would love to add -- not just on the minor league roster, but on the Yankees roster for next season.

If the Yankees got rid of third baseman Chase Headley, Gallo can be the Yankees third baseman in 2017.

Would the Rangers be willing to part Gallo for a rental, veteran outfielder?

Yu-Cheng Chang, is a shortstop for the Cleveland Indians class A team.
Chang has been highly touted and scout by the Yankees, this season. The Yankees really love this kid.

Even though they're now shortstop rich, after acquiring the Chicago Cubs top prospect shortstop Gleyber Torres for Aroldis Chapman, if the Yankees want him, they'll get him. And there's always never too much of top prospect shortstops in your farm system.

A.J. Reed, first baseman, is one of the Houston Astros no.2 prospect.
A left-handed, power hitting first baseman?

With Mark Teixeira contract expiring after this season and the young first baseman Greg Bird who was out this season due to shoulder injury and not knowing if he'll be the same again, how perfect would it be to get Reed on the Yankees, playing first base next season.

The 23-year-old Reed had 34-homeruns and 127-RBIs last year in single and double A combine.

If the Astros would want an add for Reed since they may feel Beltran wouldn't be enough, I'd do it. Reed can be a perfect fit for Yankee Stadium.
