he New York Jets lose to the New England Patriots, on a fumble by Mark Sanchez in overtime.
That fumble by Sanchez in OT that caused the Jets to lose, was so careless. You're in overtime, after the Pats just scored on their home field, and you carelessly, fumble the ball like it's the 2nd quarter ... That was terrible.
Sanchez has got to have better coverage of the football, in the situation he was in. He basically gave up.
Listen, Jets probably were going to lose anyways, but that was his chance to show the Jets and his fans, that he can lead this team by having a chance to comeback against the Patriots, at Foxboro and take sole possession of first place in the AFC East.
I'm not a Jets fan, I'm a Giants fan -- however I was against Tim Tebow coming here and putting pressure on Sanchez. I felt bad for Sanchez, but he's got to handle the situation like a champ and show the Jets and Tebow, that this is his team. Tonight, he did not show that. He showed himself to be easily replaced, by Tebow.
I notice one thing from Sanchez -- he's got no fire. It seems to me he'd rather be on the cover of GQ magazine and having a celebrity girlfriend. Sometimes I wonder if his head is in the game, or has he given up.
It's still very early in the season and the AFC stinks, so the Jets can still make a run to win the division. Although, if he doesn't get his act together, he might be hearing: 'DING DONG ! Who is it ? It's Tim Tebow !
