Carter can be a player for next season and the future. I look at him as one those late-bloomer players. A player that starts to get great later in this career -- like a Chris Davis, Jose Batista, David Ortiz(well, **).
Carter has a ton of potential. The ball just explodes right off his bat; has that type of power a great player would usually have. And when Carter hits them, they go a long, long way.
With the right team, right place and time, he can bloom into something great. That could be with the 2013 Yankees.
